PTS-M (transporter)

The medium floating conveyor PTS-M is a design idea to combine the best qualities of the tank and the ATS-59 tractor and put them into a waterproof body to overcome water obstacles.

The PTS-M transporter is a conversion equipment designed for transporting people and cargo across water barriers. The tracked transporter is equipped with a V-54p engine with a power of 350 hp. Widely used by rescue services when carrying out rescue operations and liquidation of consequences in flood and flood zones.

The PTS-M transporter differs from its predecessor PTS by the installation of a filter-ventilation system with heated cabin air, the presence of an awning with a tubular frame, a spotlight, a night vision device and equipment with an R-123 radio station. The area of the cargo platform has also been increased from 18.5 m2 (7.1 x 2.6 m) to 20.54 m2 (7.9 x 2.6 m), with the same load capacity (10 tons on water and 5 tons on land) .

The marine equipment of the machine includes exhaust system extensions, a wave deflector and glazing protection, two powerful bilge pumps of 400 and 800 liters, two propellers and rudders. This ensures the vehicle's seaworthiness in sea conditions up to 4-5. The conveyor can also be used to perform transport tasks in wetlands.
